MEET THE ARTIST

Gene Skala

Painter • Sculpture

Gene Skala is a Chicago-based painter and longtime exhibiting artist whose work is held in private collections nationwide. His career spans decades of creative exploration and community involvement within the arts. Gene currently serves as Executive Director of Chicago Sculpture International and has volunteered with the Illinois State Museum for more than 20 years. In addition to his own studio practice, he regularly supports legacy artists with exhibitions and collections, helping preserve and promote artistic contributions across generations.
